The Lavender Run

A Scenic Classic Car Tour Through the Heart of England

Join us for a relaxed and sociable classic car tour, covering approximately 130 miles along some of the finest roads in Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, and the Cotswolds.

This untimed run is designed to be enjoyed at your own pace, with plenty of opportunities to stop, socialise, and admire the scenery.

Itinerary:

Set off from Stratford Garden Centre for a leisurely day out, designed to delight the senses. Begin your adventure with a hearty breakfast roll, setting the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable day. After your morning refreshment, we’ll embark on a scenic route through the countryside, with plenty of opportunities to stop, explore, and indulge.

Morning Halt: Halford Arms

Your first stop is the charming Halford Arms, where you can unwind with a delicious tea and cake. It’s the perfect way to ease into the day before continuing on your journey.

Lunch Halt: Pillerton Priors Village Hall

After passing through the picturesque village of Butlers Marston, we arrive at Pillerton Priors Village Hall for a well-earned buffet lunch. This is the perfect opportunity to stretch your legs, admire the machinery, chat with fellow crews and compare notes on the route — and perhaps discover who got it right… and who got it wrong!

Afternoon Stop: Broadway Tower

Our afternoon coffee halt takes us to the iconic Broadway Tower, standing proudly on one of the highest points in the Cotswolds with spectacular views across several counties. Take a break, enjoy the café facilities, and soak up the scenery before the final run back.

Finish: Return to Stratford Garden Centre

Your day concludes with a return to Stratford Garden Centre, where a delicious two-course dinner awaits you from 16:00. It’s the perfect way to round off a day of motoring, relaxation, and beautiful scenery.

This delightful day out is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle, explore picturesque locations, and enjoy wonderful food.

The Lavender Run takes place on DRIVE IT DAY. The annual celebration promoted by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs, encouraging classic vehicle owners to get their cars out on the road and use them as intended – not leave them sitting in the garagelike ornaments.

What better way to mark DRIVE IT DAY than a full day of classic motoring on some of the country’s most enjoyable roads, shared with fellow enthusiasts. To support the NSPCC please buy your Drive It Day rally plate here https://www.driveitday.co.uk/shop
